Meeting of Caritas Athens with the Ministry of Migration to Strengthen Cooperation

With the aim of expanding Caritas Athens’ contacts with public bodies to secure resources, a meeting was held with the Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mr. Thanos Plevris. Our organization was represented by the President, Philippos Salimpas, the Vice President and Head of Public Relations, Mr. Fragkiskos Chalavazis, and the Program Coordinator, Ms. Danai Kanelli.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation with the Ministry were explored, and the participation of Caritas in Greek-language learning and training programs, as well as in the Prepaid Cards program, was discussed.

We thank the leadership of the Ministry of Migration and the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Mr. Kostas Katsafados, who attended the meeting.
